Back to the real world.  Down the mountain.  Everyday life.  We’re back.

We’re refreshed, super-charged, and changed.  The week was one of the best ever, just ask anyone who went.  We were challenged during the chapel times to breathe in and out, find God’s rhythm, and change our perspective.  We responeded through many different experiences including nailing sins to a cross, painting picutres, writing in journals, lighting candles, building an altar, washing feet, burning sacrifices, confessing, praying, being annointed, confessing, taking communion and more.  It challenged us to really wrestle with God, and I can honestly say that God moved in real ways.  The morning show was crazy, chapel was awesome, and ybod was crazy awesome.

We’re going to have a PERSPECTIVE transition gathering on Monday August 4th @ 5:30 @ the AXIOM. We’ll see you there!

Hey there campers.  You should have gotten a phone call on Saturday if you are going to camp.  Everyone is meeting at the church at 7am on Monday.  We will ride a mini bus to camp, so pack light.  One suitcase, a sleeping bag and a pillow.  If you still owe money for camp, make sure that you bring a check made out to Sacramento District Camps for the balance.  We will be leaving the church at 7:15am.

On Friday, we will ride back with the Auburn church on their bus as far as Roseville.  We will arrive in Roseville at 3:30pm, where a group of parents will be waiting to bring everyone back to Oroville.  We should arrive home at 5:00pm on Friday afternoon.

Parents, if you are helping transport kids back on Friday, you will be receiving a call Thursday evening about the exact location of the drop-off/pick-up in Roseville.  You can meet at the church at 2:00pm and head down together if you wish.  We will also post the details on thenaz.net as they become known.

So…it’s that magical time again…when school is out and camp is on the horizon.  If you’ve ever been to one of our camps…than it goes without saying that you will not want to miss it!  DEADLINES ARE SOON so register now!  All you need is a $50 dollar deposit to hold your space.  Go to www.sacramentocamps.org to register. 

Hey….this Saturday is our next Playday…and you don’t want to miss it.  Show up at Axiom by 2:30 by yourself or with as many friends as you’d like to bring, and you’ll be hooked up with a team that will head into downtown Oroville - during the Feather Fiesta Day activities - on a manhunt to find the faces of people that you have on a ‘mugshot’ list.  After its over, we’ll be showing a movie at Axiom and having some pizza; so bring $3 to chip in.  Event should be over by about 6pm.
